How to save a partial pose?

How can I save a pose only for hands or, even better, only for fingers?

I'm trying to make a character hold a custom weapon, and it would save a lot of time if I didn't have to adjust the fingers every time I change the overall pose.

When saving a pose preset expand the character an tick only the ones you want to save, i.e. untick everything, drill down till you find what you want to save and tick those.
