i need to save a character in such a way that i can add it to another existing scene. i thot this is done by saving it as a scene subset but that doesn't seem to work. ? Is there a way to save an image of, say, a tiger and adding it to an existing scene showing frightened spectatoRS?

    Use File>Merge to add the extra scene? It will just import the 2nd scene with all its elements to your current scene. I would merge in the main scene as it will overwrite the environment details of the existing scene and save you having to set up those again.

    Merge should be the default behaviour when you double-click a Scene Subset in a content pane.
