She's a great gothic themed character!  Here's some renders I did with her.  She fits a variety of styles and the hair included with the bundles are also very nice.  10/10 must have bundle!

No makeup here, very detailed skin.

  • Glad I held off on using my premier free bundle. Wasn't awed by the last two bundles but this one was an instant put in cart. Bonus that I get to use my free coupon for the bundle.

This was my test render this morning.  This is a very nice bundle.  This is almost as good as the slyvia 9 bundle (and thats purely subjective), 9/10.

She looks a little odd to me with how far out her jaw flares in the back, but that's probably just personal aesthetic.

Her textures seem well done; I liked that they looked real without needing to rely on distinctive moles, birthmarks, etc. that make it hard to use on more than one character without it looking odd.

I like that the clothes and such are a bit different for once, even if I wouldn't have occasion to use most of it. I did WL the hair and jewelry; no immediate need, but something might come up for those.

I love the character's face, it seems really well done. It's sweet and a little quirky, not overly sexualized. Very very nice! The body feels a little underdone to me, maybe, but I like its type well enough.

The bundles are really cool this time, lots of fun dresses and hairs, and the jewelry seems amazing! Gonna try to add a test render as well.

NIce bundles, might be a help with all the romantasy books out these days! Loved that pic, midgard229.

She's REALLY really nice in close-up!

I stopped the render though because I got this weird artefact in the eyebrow. Has anyone else experienced this? I rather think it must be due to my setup, the hair maybe. Anyways, the skin is just so lovely!

Hey tsroemi, lovely render. The eyebrow artefact is probably the omni shader - it goes a bit too hard for eyebrows.

  • I think all the renders look great!  (I changed my forum name to NetherFalcon as being associated with the color orange is no longer a good thing).

NetherFalcon, I assoicate everyone with their icons so as long as that stays the same, you're good. I think the only name I remember on the forum is WendyLuvsCats!

Good point!  And WendyLuvsCats is a worthy inclusion of memorable forum names.  wink

She looks really nice. Certainly a better offering than the Valentine's character. Although I was just trying to work out what the outfit is used in one of the promos.

I'm pretty sure the hair is the Cecelia Updo. The dress is the KuJ Lace Dress. But I was wondering about the veil.

Perhaps https://www.daz3d.com/dforce-headdress-for-vyk-delphi with a different shader and hair applied after sim.

Thank you :) Although I'm guessing the same effect could be achieved by just dForcing a plane?

I was going to pass on Cecelia, but ended up buying her for free with my Premier bundle coupon. She does have a unique look.
In this image I added some piercings, tattoos from a product

I had fun playing with the bundles, which came down in price a decent amount with the sale and tokens.

I’ve rendered her HD next to Mira HD. Cecelia 9 has cooler or olive undertones and I don’t have to do any corrections to take out the orange, although there might have been a very small amount of green in the lights.

I’m not a fan of her body sculpt, but the face is interesting. Next to Mira HD again.

Nice face textures, could read as something other than caucasian. Nice detailing on the outfit textures for the Gothic Style Outfit.

Romance test next to Lucas. I manually changed the colours on the dress using the surface tab. There’s a few material zones that allow for basic changes. I like the make-up set, but there’s the usual wrangling to get them to apply correctly.

If the buxom test render I did ever finishes I’ll post that. The Gothic Style Outfit adds a shaping slider for a corset if you don’t have something similar already (to nip in the waist and push up the breasts). I don’t think the buxon add-on does anything you won’t be able to do yourself. The KuJ Lace Dress is nice, but textures are scaled a bit big for my preference – makes the character look very doll-like.

Edit: posted the last one at about 14% rendered, need the computer back! Grainy, but shows the size of the textures.

The hairs are niche, but I like them a lot.

She reminds me of Posh Spice.

Hey sid, thanks, also for the hint on the eyebrow! I'll try and switch it for a normal fiber shader next time.

I repeat my entry in another thread:

Cecelia 9 is such a pleasant surprise after the last two core characters, although of course she's another white female. But this time it's not a sex bomb that's meaningless at best, but a pretty, individual and ‘normal’ looking girl with a pronounced profile.

I love the themes of the bundles. The dresses and the hairs by chevybabe and Mihrelle are looking great! I've opted for the Corset Dress Bundle and Mihrelle's 'Cecelia Updo'. As a Premier member, I'll get the Character Bundle tomorrow, as I already used my coupon for this month.

Fantastic renders, Sid!  I like the comparisons to Mira!

There is a missed opportunity to get a gothic outfit with pants, like the ones Rhiannon did a couple of years ago, instead of a third dress.
