log file update

A question which may seem strange but which comes out as I have upgraded from DS 4.8 to 4.9.
I frequently use the help log file to check the effect of my Iray settings. In 4.8 there was a brand new log after each new session "help request".
However in 4.9 (standard) the log seems to preserve the whole history over several days. Note I have also changed my computer with an unfortunately mandatory Win 10 instead of Win7 (which was excellent...).
I am not sure it is a pure Daz quirk but i fully disconnect my computer (no power) and it is strange to get the same extended log (it will become heavy very soon).
There is a purge Daz memory somewhere, would it do the trick ?

The log file is reset when it reaches a certain size, I can't recall what the limit is off hand. If you were getting a clean log each time on the old machine it may have been filling up more quickly for some reason.
I keep it open in notepad++, and regularly ctrl - a and delete, then save after every render. I keep it open to spot when daz needs to be closed because it became to bloated to render with GPU anymore.
Thank you for your answers, I did not suspect this sort of process. I would like to know the size limits however. The new habit I have with my new rig is that I do not use CPU for rendering (thanks to my Titan X...), could explain something. I will test a dual rendering and then TheKD method. Thanks again for your interest.
