Set Compatibility Base Not working : Daz Studio 4.9.0.63

Stressed out, finally got it working, posting before thinking straight...

The data found in the product.dsx (product metadata described below) file hardly comes from the saving of the product? Or does it?

Where can I find any doccumentation about this?

Products bought at other vendors seldom contain Smart Content Data so I create my own.

Trying to set Compatibility Base for a new product bought at Renderosity does not work (in the same way Set Category never worked...).

These rows are missing in the product.dsx file:

 <CompatibilityBase VALUE="/SelectedCompatibilityBase"/>

<ObjectCompatibility VALUE="/data/path/product.dsf#product" REF="/SelectedCompatibilityBase"/>

Is this a known bug or does it have something to do with the new content management policy?
