Wall Shading

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

I have a set that has interior walls that I want to reshade.  However, when I go to Surface, i cannot find the walls in Surfaces.  Some of them appear in Scenes, but not Surfaces.  And Scenes alone. will not work.  Are these walls still somewhere in Surfaces?  Is there another way to change them, if they're not?  Or are surfaces that cannot be changed?

    Are you sure you are selecting the right thing? If they appear in the Scene pane theya e separate nodes, their surfaces will appear in the Surfaces pane only if the node is selected (by dfault, you can tell the pane to show all items through the options menu - the lined/hamburger button in the top corner). Using the Surface Selection tool may help.

    I have no clue which product you are refering to.

    But any surface should be part of an entry in the  Surface tab, but might not have an obvious corresponding name.

    What get selected if you with the surface selection tool, select the wall?

    Well, the surface tool seemed to have worked!   Thanks a lot!
