Anyone else having problems with the EG Kin (G9) model? [Solved]

I reinstalled daz on my computer a few months ago, and every other asset/model I own seems to load in correctly, but the EG Kin model seems to be broken.
Problems I've encountered:

  • Subsets including her model are broken (eyeballs dislocated, mouth pursing or funneling exaggerated, etc), overall body shape seems intact
  • Base Model loads in as default Genesis 9 figure with her skin and eye mats applied (creepy)
  • Trying to blend her model in with sliders in the shaping tab, results in nothing, almsot as if her model is actually gone.

Thing I've tried:

  • Completely removing her content from Content folder
  • Installing through Daz IM
  • Manual reinstallation
  • updating metadata
  • Reinstalling Daz altogether

I'm hoping it's jsut me missing something or a box I'm not ticking, but maybe it actualyl is the mdoel. Anyoen else encountered this?

    Have you checked the log file (Help>Troubleshooting>View Log File, scxroll to the end just after trying to load). Have you tried a base figure with the shaping and materials presets applied? I am just loading the character preset now, but character preests can take a while to load for me.

    Edit: the character presets seems to have loaded without distortion for me.

    I have just tried and seems to behave for me too. If the issue persists through everything you've gone then perhaps there is a broke Daz Connect version installed (since that always takes priority over other installs) or a duplicate formula for the morph maybe.

    You were right! I've been removing just the model from the content library (custom directory), but the Daz Connect Library still had a version that took preference over it. Once I removed the all the .duf files of the model and did a fresh install through install manager, the issues are gone!
