Michael 7 Pro bundle - missing Genesis 3 male?

So, after years of not using DAZ as much, I decided to take advantage of the sale and get the M7 pro bundle for a good price....

Have got DAZ Studio 4.8 installed, and installed M7 via DIM.

Upon clicking on the file in DS, i get the warning that I haven't got the genesis 3 male.duf file on my system... I thought this was part of the M7 bundle?

Searched runtimes and content libraries, and indeed, that's not installed at all.

Help please.

You need to "purchase" the free Genesis 3 Starter Essentials product in the store. Or maybe it already comes with Daz Studio 4.9 when you "purchase" that. I can't remember for sure. Anyway, I am sure it is a separate installation. If you are using DIM to install your products, you should see it (Genesis 3 Starter Essentials) listed in your products list in DIM. You might see one installer for Male and one for Female.

thank you barbult! I had to use DIM and filter for Genesis 3. That gave me both the male and female versions to download and install. I'm really behind on this way of base figure distribution...

Great! Your Michael 7 should be working fine once you have the Starter Essentials installed. Look through all the stuff that comes with the Starter Essentials, too. You will find some clothing and hair for your models.

Note that there are other things besides the Starter Essentials that come free with D|S — there are separate downloads for the default lights and shaders, other free content, and the database that runs the Content Management System. Check the D|S4.9 page in your Product Library to see the exact names you might need to search for.
