Can you geograft for any figure, or just Genesis?

I understand what geografting is, how it works, and that the graft only works on the intended figure, but what I'm not sure of is if it's only Genesis figures that can be geografted on to or can anything have geografts made for it? For example, if I wanted to create a geograft for say a bodysuit, is it possible?

I'm not sure if it has to be a weight-mapped figure, but that aside you can geograft on any figure, even clothing.
