Hello,
I just bought iClone 6 and 3DXchange and I would use clothes bought on the DAZ website with iClone characters.
The characters in question are characters "Toon Generations".
Is this possible and if so would you please a tutorial for performing such an operation ?
thank you very much !

if its in iClone format, an iAvatar you are pretty much out of luck unless you import it as a prop attach it and use PhysX softcloth, but that is iffy at best
you need to fit clothes on a character in DAZ that is a DAZ figure like Genesis etc
that said 3DU toon generations are also in DAZ studio format in the DAZ store and their store but fitting clothes on them not made for them is unlikely to succeed
You can convert FBX exports of DAZ characters with clothes on them with 3DX6 to use in iC6
the base figures are free,
Genesis, Genesis 2 male and female have presets to use to auto-convert for iClone so it is easy import them and if you search the store there are various toon, anime morphs you can get, you just cannot use the clothes alone in iClone really, I mean there are messy complicated ways like importing them as figures, scaling the same then using clothweights and having them use the the same iMotions as your figures with collision capsules enabled but not sure if that would really work
So we can not use clothing as such in iClone, agreed.
In fact this is what I would like (I will perhaps start there) :
I wish to buy these soldiers :

but it is mentioned that this necessarily requires the installation pack (in DAZ Studio so) of the basic package :

I do not grasp how to use all these people in iClone?
Go look on the Reallusion forum, there are many French speakers there too, there are tutorials on how to get DAZ content into iClone too, you should start with the the free base figures that are in the starter essentials first to learn how to do it.
