Refitting Legacy to Legacy

I've been trying to find it for 24 hours now, but no luck. So perhaps someone cal tell me...
There was a tutorial on how to refit clothing to go from one older model to another. No autofit - because that doesn't work with legacy rigging - just old stuff to old stuff. Yes, I do have crossdresser but crossdresser doesn't have a license for this model (although old street word is they were working on it once upon a time). Anybody know where that's at? My model is the naked.

3 ways, off the top of my head...none are all that easy. I'm sure there are more...
1. Use Poser and it's morph brush to create a fit morph for the item.
2. Use Dforms to do the same in Studio.
3, Take the model, in zero pose and the clothing into a modelling program and fit it there, export the clothing. Import as a morph in Studio. I do remember there being a tutorial for this one involving using Hexagon...
Well, I can't do the poser one. But here's what I did:
I took the Annabelle dress and refitted it for Himeko using resizing, a couple of dforms, and smoothing modifier. So I have this morph form in the dress now that fits himeko.
And that's where I get lost. It looks great on her. The bones are off in the arms and I can't get them to go where they need to go.
I tried converting Himeko to triax, which works well, and then autofitting but that just made a mess of the dress.
It's the resizing that's throwing things off...and I can't remember how to fix that. I've pretty much forgotten all the legacy rigging stuff...haven't done it/used it in a long time.
Sadness! Woah and stuff! If only Crossdresser had a license for HImeko - or if the old tutorials were still up. Just becaue Genesis came along doesn't mean people were going to stop using other stuff entirely.
I'm not certain this is what you are after or not, but ...

Wow, SixDs. This is one comprehensive tutorial. Thanks! I've got it open, but it's going to take me a little while to go through it and see if it helps.
