Update not showing up in connect

Since I have decided to switch to DAZ|Studio I went and did a clean install of all the connect content I have 

Some products, like victoria 4, still need to be installed through DIM. Running DIM I noticed that it listed a bunch of updates available for products I installed through connect.

Going back to studio there aren't any updates listed.

 

Which is right, and can DIM and connect be synched up?

DIM will not see the content installed via Connect, so its update notificatins are not useful.
