Run DS 4.9 after Logging OFF with regular DIM Content?

If I do not use DAZ Encrypted content, but do upgrade to v. 4.9 of DS, I'm guessing I  have to log on in order to start Studio. Then, can I log off and still use my DIM content? (And also use content I previously installed myself before DIM became available?)  Or, do I have to fill out "off-line authentication forms" for each item I want to have in my scene?

Only Connect installed content needs to be authenticated.  DIM and manually installed content work just like they did before.

Thanks for the response. But, if I do go up to DS 4.9, I will have to log on to DAZ inorder to start running DS 4.9, correct? And then, if I log off, can I continue to run DS 4.9?

Or, is logging on with DS 4.9 even necessary?

You do not need to log in 4.9 every time you want to work with DAZ 4.9

If you only use DIM for installing content you do not have to log in.

If you have purchased encrypted contend or want to test one of the encrypted friday freebies - you need to log in to install them via connect and to receive your "decryption key" -

after that you can log off (work ofline) and play with DAZ the way you´re used to.

No. To both. 4.9 works just like 4.8, with the addition of an optional login and DAZ Connect download capability. You do not need to log on to use any content.
