Need to copy or move Genesis pose controls

(My Genesis (1) is far from stock, so I don't know if this issue is in the default figure, or if it's something I did. Seems like a huge problem that wouldn't be missed during QA, so I assume it's something I did.)

Almost all of my pose controls for the Genesis head appear in the head, but not the root. When I try to save a preset and select only pose controls, the pose controls from the head part are not saved (apparently pose presets only gather data from the root).

Is there a way for me to make these dials appear in the root? And also, how would I go about making this change permanent so Genesis loads with the dials in the right place?

Update: I opened the head node in the Parameters tab and then used edit mode>right click>Property Cloner and sent it to the Genesis node as an Alias. That seemed to do the trick.

But now I need to know how to make the change permanent.

Update: I seem to be solving my own problems tonight. Save as>Support Asset>Morph Asset seemed to do the trick.

I do have one more question, though: what happens if I clone a morph that is already present in the target node? I'm just being cautious here, because I don't want to have to do a bunch of cleanup after I clone a zillion morphs from the head node to the Genesis node. I couldn't test this because I couldn't find any morphs already present in both nodes. Which means I probably won't have any problems with duplicates, but like I said, I'm being cautious.
