Under the content directory pane there is nothing. I checked my edit preferences>content directory manager. No changes, just not accessing. Thought it might be some sort of rogue bug, so I went thru Install Manager and re-downloaded and installed D|S 4.9. It still won't show any content folders not DazStudio format, not Poser format, nothing works. What is going on? [edted for typos]

It may be that the file/folder panel(s) are collapsed - is there a double bar with a dark centre section above the area that should show the files or folders? If so try clicking the dark section on the lower bar and see if that reopend the list. (If you folder list was at the side of, not above, the file list the bar and dark area may be on the left edge of the pane instead of the top).
I do see such a divider, but when I click it the content checkboxes (which I never saw before, new one on me LOL) show starting from whole word/regular expression (?) DAZ formats (scenes, scripts) Poser(scene, figure, pose -> ~~~.-> materials) and Other Formats. There is a similar divider at the bottom of the pane that opens the tips, Info and tags dialog. That's all I'm seeing.
Update: I switched to a different workspace layout and it shows the Poser, Daz and other formats... but I still don't see my actual content when I try to click the formats
BTW Smart Content is working fine, just that I'm a Daz3.1 V3 vet with lots of content that isn't meta'd.
Well, if Smart Content is working then that content, at least, should be showing under the ... Format lists. Please post a screenshot of the Content Library pane as it is now.
I switched to different layouts, finally scored on 3D Bridge, everything is back up and available. Damned if I know what happened, never saw that glitch before, just glad it's gone.
I have exactly the same issuea and I am new to DAZ. Where do I find 3D Bridge? And what do i do when I find it? Very frustrating
If you have Photoshop and told DIM where it was installed before installing the plug-in then it should be in the File menu.
Unfortunately I didn't know to do that ro even that I coudl so I guess it's too late.
Do you have Photoshop?
