DAZ 4.9 and Ubervolume

I'm trying to render a 3D light scene using omnifreaker's UberVolume in 4.9 but it seems that the UberVolume is not working properly anymore. Earlier when I fixed a UberVolume cone to a spotlight, the cone was cut off by objects in front of it and there were shadows cast from these objects. But now this shadow effect is not working anymore. Instead it just looks as if I've added a semi-transparent white cone-primitive into the picture.

So tell me, is not UberVolume working anymore in 4.9 or is there newer versions of the product. Mine is from 2012-01-28

UberVolume should be included in the default shaders, so if your copy is showing 2012, then yes, there have been several updates since then...

Are you rendering in 3delight or Iray? uberVolume is a 3delight shader.

So where can I get hold on fresher versions? They don't seem to be included in the regular update run.

The name has changed to Default Resources for DAZ Studio 4.9+

How can I find it? Can I download it from somewhere?

It should be in the DAZ Install Manager, if you use that, or on the Product Library page for Daz Studio itself.

I tried to search through DIM and my product library without luck. Nothing labelled UberVolume or Default Resources

Have you tried typing default into the filter box? Of course you need to be online if you haven't yet downloaded the package.
