Fatal Error when tried to open or save file in Daz

I've been using daz3d for about 3 months, it was working properly and I'm happy with it

but yesterday suddenly when I tried to save a scene, daz crashed and showed that Daz has encountered a fatal error and must close.

DAZStudio.exe caused IN_PAGE_ERROR in module "C:\Windows\system32\COMDLG32.dll" at 0033:00000000FF9C4A00, PageSetupDlgA()+17696 byte(s)

I'm using 64 bit, here's my PC (Laptop) spec

Operating System: Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.150928-1507)

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2370M CPU @ 2.40GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.4GHz
Memory: 4096MB RAM
Available OS Memory: 3970MB RAM

NVIDIA Geforce 610M 2GB

I know my laptop is outdated, but for last 3 months it can run daz3d pretty smoothly with simple scenes

  • I started having them while deleting objects... (computer is not an issue dual xeons and 64 gigs)

but if you have the scene open
    ---
    save often...
    ---
in the case of my crashes it was particular items* that were causing the crashes... so I could save other parts of the scene as a scene subset.
    ---
if you had a previous save of the scene... figure out what you did before the version that crashed..
    --
if no previous saves... just set a timer or just save everytime you do something major...
    ---
*to find the problem, I just started deleting small parts until I found the one that crashed the scene...
    ---
I don't recall having as many crashes back with earlier verisons than the last couple...but I've done a lot more stuff the past couple of years...
    ---
I did have 4.7 crashing when trying to read in scenes that I created in 4.6 --- I was able to go back an open the scene with 4.6 and save different versions that I opened in 4.8 until I found what caused the crash and elimated it from the old scenes..

Thanks for your suggestion but I don't think the items in the scene is the issue here

Sorry I didn't explain it clearly before, I will elaborate my problem :

    - I CAN open my files from recent files (file>open recent files)

    - I CAN save (overwrite) my loaded scene from recent files

    - I CAN render it

    - When I try to save a scene as a new file (save as option) it CRASHES

    - When I try to open a saved scene in my folder (file>open) it CRASHES

    - Even I tried to save a blank scene as a new file, it still crash

In a nutshell, everytime I try to open files directory from my Daz, it crashes, but aside of that it runs fine
