Installation Failed Messages

I'm re-downloading some of my old orders. I have these messages, which I hope are added as an attachment. They're freshly downloaded, though I tried deleting them and re-downloading again. What's going on?

If you open preferences (the gear icon at top-right of the DIM window) there's a View Log button.

I'll try the manual instal. See how that goes.

I'm surpised they have the old .pzs file in them still - though I'm not sure why that would be blocking installation, it isn't for me. What OS and security software are you using?

I believe this error message: "Could not extract file : D:/Documents/My DAZ 3D Library/Runtime/WebLinks/DAZ Productions, Inc/DAZ Free Weekly Download.pzs"

Means the file, DAZ Free Weekly Download.pzs,  already exists in folder D:/Documents/My DAZ 3D Library/Runtime/WebLinks/

For each product erroring out with this error,  go and delete the file first and then try the reinstall again.

The problem is that those old weblinks files were set as read-only, but I haven't seen that causing a problem for DIM installs -- it used to cause problems with the old bitrock installers, with the OS asking if you wanted to retry with adjusted compatibility settings.  Are you installing to a location which has content which wasn't installed by DIM?  I believe Lindsey's solution should work if that's the issue.

I did a manual install. It did want me to replace a bunch of files like the pzs one as Lindsey mentioned, but it worked. To Richard, I run Windows 8 64bit with admin rights. I use AVG and the usual Windows Defender. I'm happy with the work-around. Fixmypcmike, yeah a few files have had to be installed manually, such as some Renderosity items. Thanks for the help guys!
