Installed DS 4.9Beta - am I basically f-ed now?

So, since everyone says a beta can happily co-exist with a 4.8 installation I decided to install it to see wether the Iray fixes are worth the upgrade..
Only problem (so far) is that my send to ZBrush is gone from 4.8 - and sending to ZBrush from 4.9B works, but when returning it nothing happens (no update, no new instance of DS launched).
Any quick fix I'm missing, or is it scrap-time?

Only one GoZ Bridge, per bit architecture (i.e., 32-bit, 64-bit), can be installed at a time. If you used Install Manager to install it, Install Manager knows this (by way of a script embedded within the package) and so uninstalls the GoZ bridge from the other release channel(s). Re-install the General Release GoZ bridge (which will uninstall the Public Build version), and you'll be back to using that one.

!Note: This only works if you haven't downloaded the 4.9 General Release package yet, and you are not currently connected. If you do this while you are connected, the General Release GoZ package will show as an update and installing it will install the 4.9 version... which isn't compatible with 4.8.
I uninstalled and installed 1.5.0.59 - which now works in 4.8 again (PHEW!) - so regardless of improvements in 4.9, I guess it's not an option since ZBrush can't seem to find the application for direct export (when pressing the GoZ in ZBrush to return the models, it simply says "save successful" but nothing comes back into DS (4.9))
Oh btw. the older GoZ exports correctly from 4.9 - but ZBrush fires up 4.8 when returning the edited models :-)
