I have Daz 4.9 Pro and I thought there was a way to make the characters talk. But I can't find it.
Is there a way to make the charaters talk? ( Lip Sync)
Thanks

LipSync is in the 32 bit version of DS only, so set up a character there then switch back to the 64 bit version for rendering.
So I need to download a 32 bit version of Daz?
I can't find it on the Daz website. Do you know where I need to go to download it. I looked through the install manager but didn't see anything there either.
Thanks !

In DIM you probably have to tell it you want to see the 32bit software - or you had it hidden somewhen ... I don't know how to unhide things I hid myself in DIM.
Click the Show Hidden box inready to ownload, find the item (it will be greyed out), right-click on it and use the show menu command (you can also, as with hiding, select multiple items and unhide all selected).
It s often a good practice to manually install DAZ studio anyway so you have a collection of old installers in case they break your favourite third party addon.
like AoA lights after 4.6 for example, one I miss learnt since, am on 4.7 with 4.9 beta
Thanks everybody for the help. I now have the 32 bit version.
I was trying to lip sync but the mouth isn't moving, the head moves around but the mouth stays shut. I am trying to get the figure Genisis 2 to talk. ( this is one of them that come with the free 4.9 download).
Can I lip sync these Genisis fugures or are there just certain figures that can use the lip sync.
Thanks again for all your help !
Note that animated morphs like this are dependent on using the exact names of the morph parameter dials — and the parameter names (and their positions) are not guaranteed to stay the same from one figure generation to the next.
E.g. it's obvious to us humans that the morphs "Mouth Open" and "Mouth Speak" do the same or very similar things, but only the one with the correct name used in the animation will be recognised.
Have you installed DMC file for genesis2 already? you may find, Genesis2=DMC, in DIM, it iis configuration file for genesis2 figures lip sync.
DIM install DMC files your library (DIM install Directory)/general/
. though it is not default directory for DMC, you can set DMC files from lip sync tab.
or copy DMC files then paste to the Default directory for daz studio 32 bit.
The DMC for Genesis 2 and 3 were in the wrong place.
Thanks everybody for your help !!
