NO EXPORT OPTIONS ????

I have been talking with the help guy and I have no idea what's wrong ? I keep uninstalling then reinstalling and as you can see from the picture attached when I go to the file menu nothing ? Not even save ? 

Can someone more enlightened please tell me what I'm doing wrong. I run on a Mac

    Go into the Window Tab; it is something you need to select there, as it happened to me once after a re-install.

    I can't remember what, so remember what you do, so you can undo it if what you click on doesn't work. It could be workspaces of viewports, (or maybe there are other options that disappear once you've selected the correct one) but I'd start with workspaces or viewport.

    You'll know you've got the correct one as the File, Window, Help you currently have will change to the selection more like in the image I've posted.

    Uninstalling and reinstalling won't generally reset preferences, including the layout in DS.

    Any time you see this minimal set of menus, activity buttons along the top of the main window, and/or no pane options button in the pane group, the user has/had the Full Service [Beta] layout applied. That particular layout invokes the "Workflow Assistant," which limits the actions (and thereby the menus that hold them) that are available to the user, as well as several other features, in order to control the workflow. To disable the "Workflow Assistant" the user needs to select a different layout.
