Can't export FBX file

Hi there,

I followed several Tutorials but nothing seems to work. I am trying to export a model that I made in Hexagon to a FBX file. That's what I've done so far:

- Created the model in hexagon
- Sent the model to Daz3D
(everything seems to work till here)
- Export the file as FBX from Daz3D

The strange thing is: Daz3D tells me "Exported file: blah.fbx" but there is no file showing up in the folder where I wanted to save it to?!
Anybody got any idea what I am doing wrong here?

Regards, Bassfader

OMG I found the solution... I guess thats VERY BAD BUG!

The directory where I wanted to save the file to contained german "umlaute" like ä ö ü ...
As soon as I saved the file in a directory which doesn't contain such characters the save completed successful, so I guess its related to these "special" characters.

Please report this to the DAZ Studio Bug Tracker. I have to admit that DAZ has a poor history with "non-standard" characters, but I think most of the testers are Anglophone and therefore much less likely to notice these things.
