How to use V4 muscles maps for G2F?

Hello friends!

I was going through the website and found an amazing product: http://www.daz3d.com/muscularity-morphs-for-genesis-2-female-s

It looked nice as they have used the V4 muscle map textures on G2F. Being a new user, I had no idea that such things can be possible.

Inspired by the picture, I statred my own experimentation and research. I could create the muscle anatomy og G2F now :) great achievement. BUT....

The textures seems to have demarcations here and there which can be clearly seen after the rendering is complete. Whereas in the products page, there seems no demarcation at all.. Please look at the pic attached: thigh area, a clear demarcation can be seen and it seems as if the textures are not matching. Same thing is with the underarms..

Any suggestions how to improve or fix that? Horizontal offset does't help either.

Please describe the full process you used to apply the textures to G2F.  I assume you have http://www.daz3d.com/victoria-4-for-genesis-2-female ?

Yes, I do have that, but never used it. When I open daz studio, there is no separate figure that says V4. But there is a slider which says V4 body.

Got the muscles map textures in a separate folder named Victoria 4, under the People section. Anything wrong there?

    (people>victoria 4>textures>muscle maps)

Applying a texture to the V4 body or V6 body is not working in the traditional method of double clicking. As a work around, I upload V4 4.2 character. Apply the muscles maps and then save as material preset, gets saved in Presets>material>name that i used to save.

Then I load the G2F, change the dialer to V4 body, apply the material preset that was saved. And it works ...but with this AWESOME demarcation. CARZY!!

Changed the UV maps to V4 too..no help.

    what am I missing?

Did you change the UV Set on all surfaces (you can multi-select) after applying the textures?

yes, i go to surface pane and click on genesis 2 female

    that selects it all.

the i go to uv maps and change it to victoria 4. is that correct?

Something isn't taking on yours. I went ahead and ran that set through Draagonstorm's batch converter, applied the mats, set the uv to V4, and they snapped right into place.

For clarity's sake, this is the converter I use: http://www.daz3d.com/v4-skins-batch-converter-to-genesis-2-female-s

/edit On closer inspection, I DO have seam lines on all seams, just not as drastic as yours.

/edit 2 Looks like it's an issue with the V4 to G2F itself or something as I have other textures doing the same thing. It's just a lot less noticible on regular continuous skin than it is on non-skin textures.

hmm, even if I could get the result that you have got, I would dance with joy..it is becoming a challenge for me LOL :D

and I will try the batch converter and see if that helps. No idea why is it me only having the issue.. anything related to OpenCL or OpenGL???

For what it's worth, even V4 herself has issues with her own seams.
