DynaEnergy Poses for Genesis 3 Female.
I can see that these poses use Alice, so my question is where can I get that Alice for Genesis?
Comments
So far Alice has not been released for any version of Genesis.
Okay that was also what I remembered.
Wonder why she use Alice on the Genesis promo so.
there was an Alice Morph for genesis 1, but haven't seen anything for 2 or 3.
Okay but gone now, I guess she has one since Alice is on the Genesis 3 promo thinks from her.
But mabey it is just a private morph.
I believe they do plan to release a character for G3F, but it probably won't be Alice. I believe they simply use her as she is pretty much guaranteed recognition for them.
Yes and thanks. And I can still use her on V4. And there are so many other morph I can use with Genesis.
Okay a little search bring this: Silmefea for Genesis 2 Female with Alice morph
I know it is not so importent I was just curius then I saw the promos.
What's Included and Features
If that was one of the outfits that was over on RDNA there would have been a V4 version as well.
To the best of my recollection the last iteration of Alice which was released was Alice/Yly in 2014. I'm pretty sure she was spun off from the free Alice 5 body morph and had a face that looked very much like their current promo girl. But Alice/Yly was still a gen4 figure.
Well, hey, it's AS. They can develop their own morphs on whatever figure base they please and use them for whatever purpose they choose.
Okay I do not remember if that was on RDNA, don't think so because AS was leaving before the melting of the sites.
And there was a big farewell sales and then it was all gone and I can't find it here.
Yes she can do whatever morph she want, I was jusy curios about if there was a Genesis version and now I know there is not.
I bought Alice for V4 way back when and I have successfully brought her over to genesis 2 female thanks to the v4 for g2f and genx2 products. I'll post up a render later when I get home.
So what are you saying it's Genesis 3 poses but they don't use Genesis 3 in the promo, that's not posible as a vendor I know you have to use the figure it was designed for or the art gets rejected, unless they are really lazy and could be bothered to render Genesis 3 and pinched it from other promo set. So I'm thinking this is Genesis 3 with some sort of Alice morph on it. So it could very well be a new Alice coming which would be excellent !!! come on AS there's a lot of people who want her !!!
I don't think FSMCDesigns was saying that tho - I think he/she was simply saying they have seen Alice for Genesis but not for G3.
I remember seeing that AS had recreated their Alice for Genesis 3 but only for their own use (promos, art etc). The last I read is that they had no plans to create her for Genesis 3; they have said something like she is too personal for them to do that.
I also remember reading - and I hope someone else can back me up on this because it's quite vague in my memory - is that they copped a lot of flak over Alice for a while....about how she looked etc....and it soured them to the extent that they don't want to go through it again.
Alice is VERY distinctive - she is their "brand", you see Alice and you KNOW it's an Aeon Soul piece of art or creation. So I can definitely understand them wanting to keep her to themselves. As much as I'd love to see Alice for G3F - I've always liked her face - I can understand adn accept them keeping her as their "brand", their "signature".
Come on give it up !!!
I think the "flak" AS kept getting was the way they made older versions of Alice available. Holiday and sale releases with very small windows to purchase the character. I didn't even bother with Alice until Alice/Yly came out at RDNA, just because I NEVER knew when she was available.
I remember those day when they put a 500 item limit on them, I guess it was a marketing ploy !
Sounds correct (I do remember them posting on RDNA that they had developed a Genesis 3 for themselves, but not for release); I think the flak they got that bothered them dealt with her face (some people love it, others hate it) and, IIRC, her weight.

I remember they didn't want to release her morph at all but due to requests they decided to do extremely limited releases. She was indeed their "trademark" and very distinctive so they didn't want there to be a flood of alice images everywhere.
As promised, I present Genesis 2 Female as Alice...
Hang on a minute ! I'm going to check my runtime !!!
Sorry for starting this, was just curius about there was one for the Genesis 3.
And yes it is her trademark. And yes there had been a flood of Alice pictures, so if she had not wanted that she should not in the first place give her away.
I got all mine for free, only bought Alice 5. Was lucky to be in the right place to get 2, 3 and 4. Already then there was a flood of Alice pictures.
What I miss is an new updated version of Kieleo and Yara but that will not happen. And mabey Alice is also done.
It was just because I saw her again in the promos, but then again there are a lot of other pretty faces to put on Genesis.
Honestly, I've never been able to figure out what AS', in all their various name incarnations, game plan has actually been as far as this market goes They've seemed to alternate between periods of "Look! Here's a bunch of freebies" to ""Ick! We totally hate this business and we're pulling all our products" about every two years or so, leaving a wake of orphaned support products by other vendors each time they disappear and then eventually reappear under a new name. Aery Soul - Awful Soul - Alfaseed - Aeon Soul... if you actually look at what they done overall it's an impressive list of products, but only a fraction of them have every been available at any given time. Seems like terrible business management to me, but from the interviews I've read with them, it seems like what they sell is more a by-product of their other interests rather than a real business model. What it really comes down to the end is: if you see something that they produce that you like, you'd better buy it and back it up, because the odds are good that it'll disappear in the next year or so.
Alice is very personal for them (Ariel Shanim and Siliphiel).
Yes - there was a lot of flak about the face (I like her, because she is different) and her weight (again - I look quite as thin as her and I am NOT anorectic) ...
They rereleased her (V4 version) for short times around Christmas as a kind of Christmas present, because so many people asked for her. Yly was a bit different from Alice, an older version so to say.
As for their tendency to remove older products - they are thinking more like artists than like vendors and like very perfectionist artists on top of that. If something gets older and they think it does not represent their current state of art, it gets removed. At least they are giving a warning before they do so (differently to some other vendors).
Still, truly unique looks are rare. So many (artists, designers, whatever you want to call 'em.) create figures that tend to be just variations on a theme so that they all tend to look like siblings or cousins. There is a new producer on 'R' called Brahann and the only thing the same about their figures is how different they look from one another.
Often times I find myself buying new figures from Daz (except for Pro packs) not for the figure itself but for the skin and other assets it offers.
I haven't done a great deal over the years I've owned Studio except collect assets, but I'm retired now and with Genesis 3 and IRay I actually feel like I can accomplish things. I've been spending my time lately creating character presets, mixing and matching figures and skins to create different looks. Later I think I'll try my hand at dial spinning but for now combining some of the more unique assets from Rosity with the bredth of figure assets I've collected here (and to my chagrin still do, when good sales present.) takes quite a bit of time and helps me build up both a good library and my more basic skills.
Plus I really like the AS aesthetic. I'd love to get my hands on a G3 version of Alice as she's a fantastically unique character and I haven't really tried my hand at conversion from earlier to later figures even though I have all the necessary tools for morph and UV conversion. Too much time, too little to do... strike that, reverse it.
Noone except AS can share the morph.
I understand that, too. Though many people would love to have this morph (I like her partly cute, partly creepy looks very much) it would not be wise of AS to sell their 'signature'.
you can always try Facegen or Headshop on her renders but prob personal use only as like using a photo subject to copyright
Use Blender or Hexagon and use alice for v4 as a model to make your own genesis 1 thru 8 morph. Or just use genx and copy morphs for your own use but these can not be shared. The morphs you yourself make are your own.
thats only possible if you have Alice for V4![cheeky cheeky](https://www.daz3d.com/forums/plugins/ckeditor/js/ckeditor/plugins/smiley/images/tongue_smile.png)
I have the body not the head interestingly enough, was on their freebie site assessible through internet archives wayback machine
Hi, any news? I have the head
I love Alice. I only sort of see the logic behind (1) making her their brand and (2) not being willing to sell their brand. It still seems counterproductive to make all their clothing items for Alice, but then never selling Alice.
