Scene Overwrite Check?

Is there an option somewhere that will pop up a yes/no confirmation if I save a scene with a name that already exists?
I tend to make sequences of scenes - maybe 30 scenes for a story - and I number them someting like "scene 01" to "scene 30". However, sometimes (often) I forget to save the completed scene and also save it as the next in sequence so that I can make adjustments to poses, content, etc. Because I'm in the habit of saving often while I'm working, I mostly use Save rather than Save As.

Well, not without having it always ask for a name. If you don't set the Author field (in the first tab of Preferences) then DS will treat every save as a Save as - but if the author name in the scene matches the author name in preferences it will heed Save commands for named files. You might want to have a look at http://www.daz3d.com/super-save
Yes, thanks - I did think of the super-save product after I posted. I'll take another look - maybe I can justify the cost after overwriting so much careful work so often.
BTW - I thought the author name was necessary for saving custom morph data files. I tend not to use my own name because I have no idea how much data is transferred back to DAZ and I don't want personal details going out.
If there isn't an author name in DS you will, as I recall, need to fill out the author name in the asset save option dialogue. None of that gets sent back to Daz by default (and since the Improvement Programme uses anonymised data I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be sent back with that on either) but the name is used by the folders created in the Data folder so if you plan ever to sahre the results you don't want to use your real name.
OK - that's clear now, thanks again.
If you use "Save As" instead of "Save", you will get a pop-up.
Yep - I do that when I want to save as the next in sequence but sometimes I forget and click save instead.
Then I swear at myself.
A lot.
