Use a password generator.  There are several around, and one by trusted Norton, along with their IdentitySafe, free password safe for automatically logging in to sites with the different passwords you have.  I use that for all my logging in, with all the different sites I visit.

Be sure to check Include Punctuation, to get the special character(s).  It's easy to use, just copy and paste into the password text box, and into wherever you keep your passwords.
