Iray : How to link objet or surface to a photometric light

Exemple : I create a spot light as a rim light. How to limite the light to the main character.
Link light to objet seems to be a common feature, Iray and DazStudio must have a solution for this.
Any information or tips ?

It should, I think, be possible using the Canvasses feature (in the Advanced tab of render Settings) with Light Path Expressions http://blog.irayrender.com/post/76948894710/compositing-with-light-path-expressions
It's working, but you have to use the name of the node in the light path expressions, not the "tag"
The node list is useless in this case. Request : Can we tag props and figures as lights, and the tag can be taken into account in LPE ?
Exemple of the LPE that I use :
L.*'bottle'E : All the light only in the bottle prop.
<L['Key''Top']>.*['plane1''plane2''cream1''cream2']E : Key and Top light on plane 1, plane 2, cream1 and cream 2 props
