Need help - texture tearing/bleeding
![AllenArt](https://farnsworth-prod.uc.r.appspot.com/forums/uploads/userpics/115/n4W2E704EJV30.jpg)
Hi folks. The uv map to this lollypop is absolutely flat and yet the textures tear and/or bleed when applied and rendered (see image). Anyone have a clue why this is happening? I've only been using DS for about 9 months, but I know how to apply textures well enough.
Any help would be greatly appreciated :). I'm using the latest version of DS and the model is one I've made myself.

Which renderer? Iray?
How big are the textures?
Iray can/does compress the textures and it can cause that kind of tearing. I can't remember where the setting for adjusting it is and can't get on the machine with Iray, at the moment.
It is Iray. The texture map is 2040x2048 including the lollypop and the stick.
And you mean the compression where you choose CPU or GPU...in that tab?

Render Settings tab > Advanced tab @ the top of that > Increase the Max Threshold. I generally use 512 min and 4096 max.
/edit - whoops, yes, that tab. :P
Thanks a million folks :)
