Decimator Plug-in

in Technical Help (nuts n bolts)

Ok so i loaded it onto my computer.  Now the question is how do i access it.  It's in the plugins file but no sign of it on the interface.

Also I own daz 4.9 Pro  how do i access the texture atlas it is also in plugins but not on the interface.

Can some one help me please,

    Step 1. https://www.daz3d.com/downloader/customer/serialnumbers

    Step 2. -> Help -> About Installed Plugins and enter the relevant serial numbers

    Step 3. -> Window -> Panes (Tabs) -> long list of tabs you can open to be free floting detatched tab or that you can dock attach in one of the UI lists of tabs.

    Note that Decimator is not part of the free DAZ Studio 4 Pro - the installer is included for those with paid-for licenses (and a diffrent serial number format), if you have the free version of DS then Decimator is an additional purchase.

    When I paste/type in the serial number from my account serial numbers page, the number is ignored, and the plug-in stays greyed out (unregistered).

    Any idea why this is happening?

    Have youi restarted DS? If so, what are the first group of characters (before the hyphen) in the serial number? Don't post the whole thing, please, as the rest of it is unique to you.

    Restarting didn't work. It said it needed to restart the first time I tried to enter the number. But now it just ignores that there was even a number entered.

    The first characters are SDZDECI. I tried putting the whole number in both the Decimator slot and the Gaming Pack slot, of which Decimator is a part. Nothing happens when I hit enter or click the check mark.  No error, no acknowledgement that I even tried to enter it.

    I tried it two more times and it worked on the second try. I'm not sure why it didn't work before. It was the exact same number in the paste buffer.

    One possibilty is that I may not have seen the ok button at the bottom the first time- it was under the task bar, and I may have xed out the plugin window before I restarted since I didn't see the dialog down below.

    It may have been when you copied the numer originally, you accidentally included a space before or after the number. I know I do this often. The click-drag selection sometimes starts 1 space too soon, or extends 1 space too far and it's easy to miss.
