HDRI Iray Plugin Idea?

We could use a plugin that renders your scene without characters in Iray and outputs an HDRI file>  Then you input your characters or turn them on their visablity and render them with the HDRI file you used to create the lights. HDRI renders fast, you turn off your original scene but the scene is on the HDRI infinite sphere along with the ground plane. Less textures and more details plus faster renders. Just a thougth : )
