New character creation

I've recently created my first character for Genesis 3 female, I have a few questions regarding small things that don't work.

 

1 I've created a new property for the character and set it to "Actor/People" and "Modifier/Shape", set the ERC Freeze and saved as a Morph Asset. The small image created on the Shape Tab is offset, how can I align it like the other character shapes I have?

 

2 Although when I reload my character by using the .duf file I saved (Save as Character) the character loads with all morphs added , if I load any other models, such as G3 Base or V7, I use the slider I created in Properties and Shape, it does not dial in the character I created.

Help! what have I done wrong?

    It sounds as if the asset did not save correctly. The slider is there on the other figures, just not working? In the Parameters pane, with the working character selected, right-click and select Edit mode (if it isn't already selected), find your slider, right-click on it and select Show in Proeprty Hierarchy. if you now expand the options under the property Hierarchy entry you should find the component morphs listed as Sub-Components>1st Stage (if not the ERC didn't go right), for each check that Attributes>Save with is set to your morph and not to the shape it is driving.

    Thanks Richard, I think the problem was my organisation, I have content directories on my laptop and on a removable drive, I mainly use just the laptop when creating. I transferred everything onto the main removable drive directories and the morph dials work, however, I still have the puzzling problem of the misaligned iconas shown on the original post.

    Any ideas to fix that small issue?

    Thanks for the link, I changed the image size and it worked a treat.
