as i like to use those for lighting and as a backdrop because only 2gb of gpu ram
i have problems scaling them right
a figure should have the right proportion with the background pic
and itself should not be distorted
then they are to blurry often
any experience to share ?

I think it all depends on how high the camera was when the photos were taken. If the camera was at knee height then try lowering your DS camera to knee height and close in on your figure. Conversely, if the camera originally was in the sky and above a city, then a figure will look like a giant. Try to find an HDR that was photographed at eye level. You could also trying scaling your figure up.
