Setting dimensions for characters

Probably an answer here already, but I do't see it. I want my characters to be specific heights and shapes. I have discovered the save as shape tool - great - and the save materials tool - also great - and even the save scene subset for character with haira nd clothing etc., but I I have problems setting dimensions. Measure metrics says a figure is (for the sake of argument) 1.86 m high - I have to convert from real inches measures, but I can't adjust the numbers other than by using a height tool in shaping, which is a slider that perversely shrinks height by increasing the percentage and grows height by decreasing the percentage figure...
I am sure I should be able somehow to say - I want this character five foot 6 inches (or its metric equivalent) and get it done automatically.
If you know how, please help - I really don't want to mess about with primitive set to specific heoghts and that would work for hip, stomach or chest measurements anyway.

You can use the Figure Metrics script that comes with Measure Metrics - Look in \People\Genesis 2/3* Female/Male*/Measure Metrics to find a preset to apply the measures and set the figure pose, then run the script from /Scripts/Utilities/
* delete as apprpriate - there are folders for Genesis on.
Thanks - I'll have a go when at the computer.
YAY! It worked!!!!
Thanks.
Now to find out about creating measurement rulers....
I have converted over to Daz Connect and have installed Measure Metrics (via Connect) but Figure Metrics does not show up anywhere? Where did it go?
The product has 3 parts, 2 of which are plugins, so I think Daz Connect will only install the 1 part which is pure content.
Re-installed Figure Metrics via DIM and it shows up. Thank you.
Managing to use both MM and FM, but I am finding that figures are not comparable. For example (say) I set the female to 65 inches and the male to 70 inches in height, but they are significantly different on screen, as if the female is only about 60 inches or less. I have checked the scale settings (I used to use the scale to adjust heights, so for a saved character it might have been that, but it isn't). What is going wrong?
Is the height reported as the desired value after running the script? Sometimes it may need more iterations.
Apologies. Yes. It does claim to be the height I want.
