Trying to seperate different geometry into different groups for face, surface and rigging

So I've tried my hand at sculpting/creating a new body part (NSFW) for G2F but unfortunately, I must have mislabelled some of the vertexes under a different group. I DO suspect that it is because of this that my rigging has been all over the place. Is there a way to fix this? Can anyone point me to somewhere useful?

If you are using the Transfer utility then grouping doesn't matter - if not then how are you setting the figure up? The trouble with auto-rigging is that it works by proximity so if - at a guess - your model lies in the groin area it's very likely to pick up projected weight from the thighs that it doesn't need - the only fix is to use the Geometry Editor tool and Node Weight brush tool to edit the weighting manually (and, depending on what it is that you are making, perhaps use the Joint Editor tool to add extra bones)..

Well, I copied a similar gen and fixed the thigh problem but for some reason, the different face groups are not working with the rigging. I was wondering if it was possible to relabel everything under new groups?

Yes, but the groups are used only for selection purposes - they have nothing to do with the rigging itself (other than making it easier to select polygons for locking or editing when painting on the weight map). Grouping can be edited with the Geometry Editor tool, using the lists in the Tool Settings pane and the commands in the right-click menus.

Alright. I'll give it another go. It's just that even in blender the figure is incorrectly divided into different groups
