Lip sync question

I recently downloaded daz3d 4.9. When I try to get the character to lip sync the character doesn't actually move its mouth, but it does make facial expressions like it is singing (its eyes open and shut and it moves its head). I'm guessing that this might be because Mimic Pro can't be found on my computer, even though when I try to use the lip sync function it gives me the option of finding and using Mimic Pro on my computer. Any way, does Mimic lite work with Daz3d 4.9?

I know if you use mimic live you can use a microphone to send the software a signal to make the mouth of your character move, but can you also use a wave file to make the mouth of the character move with mimic live?

Which figure are you using? The problem is most likely the lack of the .dmc file that tells LipSync which properties to use for each phoneme.
Thanks for the reply. I've been using the Genesis 2 (base) male and female and the Genesis 3 male and female.
you're right! I'm missing the correct dmc files. Is there anyway for me to download them from some site?
They should beoth be available in DIM or in your Product Library -- the G2 one is called "Genesis 2 - DMC", the G3 one is called "Genesis 3 Starter Essentials Mimic"
it seems that the problem is solved. thanks you guys!
HI, I am trying to make the Original Star! Character by Littlefox to talk for the longest time. Would you please tell me where I can find or how I can make a .dmc file for her? I have been trying for a long time and failed. Please help.
