Is there seriously no bump map for Daz Horse 2?

I mean, seriously?

I tried using the MilHorse stuff, but it's set up differently.

That's... not really a proper bump map.

What's weird is that the MilHorse has a proper bump map. So... they decided to make an improved product, going MilHorse > Daz Horse 2, and then... just shrugged about making a bump map? Huh?

Particularly with close-ups, I'd like something that helps create a sense of the hairs on a horse's body.

I suspect that this is a reflection of the artist's style - I know the CWRW textures I bought for the original horse lacked bumps, and I returned them as a rsult, but a lot of people really liked them so it's obviously (like painted on specular highlights on hair) a matter of taste and we will have to seek out other textures for our purposes.

Yeah. Disappointing, alas, and nobody's seemed to step up and do something with it. Ah well.

At anything but extreme close-ups, using the white horse's color as a bump map works tolerably.

I wonder if maybe Horse 2 just didn't do that well. I mean, at this stage, you'd think someone would have released Iray textures and updates for it, with normal maps, or even just additional higher-end colors, but that doesn't seem to have happened.

The Furrythings.com LAMH presets don't really deal with the coat, either. The one which looks like it might, doesn't have a picture, so I don't have the faintest idea what they mean by "war horse".

The Furrythings presets all cover the same stuff the regular mane does. War Horse is a high arcing mane.

I've made some half-hearted stabs at using LAMH to make a coat, but it really needs to be 'brushed' to get it to fall right, and that's something I find impossible.
