Realistic Skin

Hi! I'm new to the world of 3D (been trying to learn Daz Studio for the past few weeks) and would love some feedback or advice on creating realistic skin. I am working in Photoshop to try and create a bit more realistic skin by adding in pores and painting in veins, freckles, and sun spots. Attached is a Work In Progress of a skin for G2 female. This is with no post work -just a quick IRAY render. Advice, feedback, and critique on how to improve it is very welcome.

Thanks, Jack! I can't really afford any of the G3 characters or Victoria or anything so I'm trying to MAKE some skin that looks a bit more realistic - a bit like the newer skins that I can't afford. lol I'm not sure I'm succeeding though and think it might be making her look ugly. I'm was hoping for some critique on improving it or maybe a link to two to a decent tutorial on creating photo realistic skins/textures for daz characters, but I guess it might just be ugly and people don't want to say anything. lol

I'll keep working on her, and see if I can find some tutorials. It's hard to find - I guess not a lot of people create custom textures for Daz Studio, or maybe I'm just looking in the wrong places or using the wrong terminology and getting nothing much via Google search. I'm going to keep looking though and working on improving her. I find the whole thing very fun and I'm learning a lot.

I think you are doing a great job on making your skin so much more realistic, the only thing I would have to say is lighten up the veins on the arms a bit. Other than that amazing work there Diva!!! I would love to try it out on some of my new charactors I have been working on I tell ya!!!
