Main Studio window does not appear

Hello

I am having a strange problem with DazStudio, using Windows 10.

This morning I was working with Daz Studio (4.8), trying to convert poses using PoseMaster. I had it working in the background, minimized, while I was working with other programs. When it has finished and I have tried to maximize the program only a small window with the render options has appeared.

I have restarted the PC, but when I try to open Daz Studio the splash screen appears, and then only the welcome window (the one with the scene builder, interactive tutorials, quick start drive and so on) appears. The icon program appears in the toolbar, but when I double click on it nothing happens.

I have updated to version 4.9, but the result is the same. Uninstalling and reinstalling it also does not work.

i have run out of ideas. Has anybody had the same poblem? What can I do in order to be able to use again Daz Studio?

Thank you for your help

Ramon.

Ok, just afer posting the message I have solved it. It seems that somehow the window had become very small and for some reason windows did not show it on the screen. Clicking on the toolbar shows a small thumbnail of the program. Clicking on the thumbnail with the right button of the mouse shows a menu with several options, one of them is "maximize". When the maximized window has appeared I have been able to show the normal (non-maximized) window and then I have been able to resize it.

I followed the same advice. However, I don't have as much control over the window resizing. Any advice?

Are you on Windows 10? Left click the Daz Studio thumbnail in the taskbar to select it. Then Hold down the Windows key and press one of the arrow keys. It should make the window appear. Then you should be able to resize and move it like normal.
