I installed it and CANNOT find it. I checked smart content, and my file hierarchies. I can't find it! It's in an install directory, I've check the actual files and the .objs are there

I find it under
Environments-->Architecture-->West_Park
(I don't use the "Smart Content", having deinstalled the Content Manager. I don't need a Windows Service running 24/7 in the background doing who knows what)
I don't even -have- an Environments folder. I'm using Windows 7, DS4 (the free version). I have Architecture, but nothing but the free content that came with it is there.
What is the exact path you installed it to? Can you find it outside of DS?
I think the problem may be that you used the Poser installer instead of the DS installer.
The Poser installer will place them in "Runtime/Libraries/Character/" and you will have to select "Poser Formats" to find that folder
There are 6 installers for West park, 3 for DS and 3 for Poser
For DS, the files are:
11912_2_ds_WestPark_2.exe
11912_3_ds_WestPark_3.exe
11912_8_ds_WestPark_8.exe
I used WestPark_1 and _2 :(
Then you have an incomplete install even for Poser.
You should request a reset of your download and get the 3 DS installers.
Actually, I'm only posting this picture to see if I can attach an image yet.
This is what you should see on a proper DS install. BTW, there is no light set in the Poser version
I had trouble with this too with most of the West Park items. I gave up on trying to load it into daz runtime and redirected the installation to my Poser 8 runtime. It worked once I had it loaded in the Poser 8 runtime.
I still don't know why it wouldn't install correctly under Daz.
Maybe you were using the wrong installers also.
If it worked under Poser, you certainly were not using a DS installer
West Park was updated - everybody resetting and downloading now will get less files.
Unless a item has MetaData which most Westpark items do not have they will be found in the Content Library Tab. Not the Smart Content Tab.
