What are the system requirements for DS 4.9 64-bit?

Greetings been a long time. I would like to know what the system requirements are for running DS 4.9 pro on my PC. Running WIN 7 Pro 64-bit, 4 GB RAM, Duo core intel but only have onboard graphics at present.

Thanks you!

The RAM will be limiting, the on-board GPU will not affect 3Delight but will limit you to CPU-only (slower) renders using Iray. The CPU is going to make rendering slow.

And that little RAM will affect everything...including the renders...both Iray and 3DL.  Most of the time Windows uses up between a half and one gig of RAM for itself...but with on board graphics, only, that can jump much higher (Win7 on my HTPC, without a video card in it, will use around 2 GB with nothing else going on).  It won't stop most renders, in CPU mode, but it will cause a lot of swapping out to disk and generally slow everything down.  Trying to render on that machine, without a video card is painfully slow...

8 GB is close to the minimum needed...more is better.

with 4GB of ram, you're better off using 32bit (OS too imo, as a 32bit OS makes better sense with only 4GB. A 64bit really needs 8GB minimum.) - the problem there being that some of Daz functionality needs 64; IRAY springs to mind, although with your system, a simple render could take days.

3Delight might be better, but even so, anything that you are trying to do the more cool 3Delight stuff, you're going to be waiting a long time.

Reasonably decent system, what I'd term minimum spec, and it would be frustrating at times: 8GB RAM (preferably 16) semi-decent i5 CPU, and a 4GB 950 - or maybe a 4GB 960 if budget stretches there.

Minimum spec for a PC doing some rendering: 16GB RAM, i7 (high spec i7 preferred), 970 4GB or 980ti 6GB if the budget stretches that far (the new 10 series cards might end up being better, but no info on rendering yet)

SSD nice to have, but doesn't make any difference to rendering, but does help elsewhere. Plenty of Disk space (mechanical hard drive as a second drive)

    Good PSU.

Obviously good keyboard, mouse and monitor (these affect your health - potentially) preferably at least a 2560x1440 monitor.
