You really do not know, I see that now. I was a Primitive Survivalist most of my life before the Kidney thing NAILED me to a effing Dialysis chair three days a week. Primitive Life and living just from mind to hand to mouth is MY thing. I've done it from the age of 11-12 (not sure) until four years ago (Dialysis) on two continents (I've had witchetty grub) and most different weather zones in every season of the year on one continent (mine).

AH so its to "run away into the wilderness" is what you're getting at. I did learn you had those skills in your recent complaint in the complaint thread. Not many in the World have those skills and knowledge! You'll have to meet up with Bear Grills! I hope that soon you'll be able to do what you want to :) Still maybe if you are having a good week some time, you could plan an escape for a few days. Maybe work it so that once a month or something you can do it, you should bring it up with your doctor and Cecile.

Opps, part of that was a lie. Never hit the land down under, it was some desert part of Mexico just off the Baja road race course. The Grubs were shipped in so we could prove we would eat them. I was told how much it was like the out back over and over.

P.S. The Grubs are best roasted over coals.

Looking at my old journals. I do miss it. No way they say. The Arthur is too bad, they say. Heck, I'm not even allowed to go fishing now, I might just tip over and fall in. Stupid people will not let me be me.

P.S. Bear Grilis is a puss who goes way to dangerous for the real stuff. You never push it as far has he does, you can Die to easy.

Well Bear is doing it to give pointers on extreme situations. It's also a show, and he'd be asked to put him self in may things. I do enjoy seeing how he handles things. In regards to ur situation, that sucks. Maybe you should pest them some more, maybe suggest a compromise and have someone with you. Surely that would help change their minds. Maybe they can do the whole tent thing and you could do what ever you want. :) Stay positive man, Never say never.

Anyways, Knife 1A Texture Variants. that's 12 in total so far.

    LOL thanks.

I will tell you a true thing what this thread has done to me. I have been procrastinating for a long time about starting to model properly myself. Struggling with my lack of confidence in having what it takes to model and texture to a fairly high standard. I have been learning for a number of years potting about in Blender, helped another to get his first product in a store eslewhere. Nothing to write home about but nice enough to be proud.

Anyways I saw this thread, started watching the progress and started to feel I have what it takes after all.

Well sounds like you know your stuff, and that is a plus! The best motivation for me has been the fact that I've posted updates so that people can see what I'm up to. That in itself makes me push my self so that even in tough times I *will* work through it. And when I'm finally done, I've already got people excited to try it. :) I'm currently learning how to make clothes, and I'm starting with a pair of boots. My first screen shot I posted, I was asked immediately if they could have it once it's done... LOL I didn't even intend to release it, but now I have all the motivation I need to see it through.

After all, If you got the know how, the things you need and the idea, why not do it? We only live once :)

    Final Knife.

Knife 3 Texture Variants. 24 props in total.

Now I need to texture the separate flint props then export them all as PP2's (Oh and I have to adjust the pivot points too)

Oh wow, I went to the bathroom last night and just woke up in my bed. I disappeared on everyone, sorry about that. Some times the powers that be just unplug me and I just fade out. I even left the PC right were it was sitting, right here on the Thread.

Well, the work looks great Spyro. More than enough toys for all our Tribal peoples. And it's so nice to see others pop in. I knew Szark had skills he was not using and wondered why. Welcome Blackfeather and thank you, but the real work is all Spyro, I'm just a numbers cruncher, who still needs to beat Genesis at his own game. The shapeshifting sucker is putting me through hoops.

Woo Hoo.. broke the Genesis Barrier. It was so easy once I got the folders made in the right place. I'm now waiting on confirmation on the proper way to package them up.

EDIT: Got the info I needed. You think it would be best If all the Genesis Smart Props were in pure DS4.5 file format?

Well done Jaderail! Knew you'd get there! :cheese: Does that mean the genesis smart prop will only work in 4.5? (Need to know so I list it in the description)

  • JaderailJaderail Posts: 0

Well Spyro I can prop to genesis hands arms legs and hip for all users but to parent to the Chest (back) I can only do it in DS4.5 the version I using right now. That will mean only 4.5 users can use that file.

That's cool. I'll note that in the description.

The Genesis 4.5 only files will be found in the My Library>Figures Folder only so it will be easy to tell them from the others for the Users. Also all Genesis Pose files will be in 4.5 format as well.

P.S. I'm cheating right now, supposed to be in bed so I can go to Dialysis in 5 hours. I can not sleep tonight. I've had this from childhood it comes it goes tonight here it is. Don't worry I've missed a treatment here and there before, I'll be fine.

Well be careful then, it's not something I'd advise skipping. It is 1AM You still have time to sleep. But I can understand the random nights your body just wont let you sleep.

I figured the poses would be 4.5... Anyone using genesis is likely using 4.5. (Out of curiosity) What genesis starter essentials are you using? 1.3 or 1.4... anything on 1.4 will not work on 1.3... 1.3 will work on both I believe. I'm still using 1.3 but will update to 1.4 shortly (I have already downloaded the installer, just haven't installed it yet.)

I did not know that I'll check. We are good this is 1.3 so all should be able to use them.

That's good. Many people have been too confused that Genesis SE 1.4 is only for Daz 4.5 beta... But it's NOT. So many may not have upgraded yet.

Set sent. I forgot to mention the Genesis Quiver is in My Library>Props>Spyro>SPYFiberGlass BowSet>Smart_Props.

    Awesome news!

Atm I'm just going through the 24 props and exporting them as PP2's - I have yet to texture the Individual flint props and then export them aswell.... There are 3 from memory, each will have the blue and cream finish (Making them 6 props), which wont take too long. Then Icons and I'll then send it to you for testing.

It's up to you if you wanna smart prop em, but I'm not sure if that's necessary, largely because of the number of props in the pack and also that each of them could be held rather differently, depending on user preference and the weapon wielding characters. Again, it is up to you If you want to do it, but there is no requirement for it I don't think.
