multiple instances of daz 4.9?

i often have 3 or 4 instances of daz 4.8 running concurently ...
I may have the final scene in one...
a building I'm creating in another
and a window and door I'm designing in other ones...
---
will I still be able to do this in 4.9
---
plus if I have a hours long render going on machine A can I still run the program on another networked computer?

Multiple instances running on the same machine is not recommended...if one crashes, it will 'take out' the temp folder...corrupting/clearing the shaders, in progress renders and other temporary files. And it doesn't have to be a crash to cause problems...closing one instance can cause the same problems to occur. This can be very bad for work in progress.
thanks....
interesting ... I've never had any issues ... I've always thought they just hadn't wanted to program the multiple windows like photoshop etc... would be nice to be able to copy and paste a model ... instead of having to save as scene subsets.. but then I do have a library of windows, door, walls etc.
---
occasionally I have had cases where it wouldn't start a second instance but CTD when it tries to open a file..
---
I don't think I used more than two back on the old machine... but then the scenes and program and windows were at 22 gig out of 24 and things got touchy... No windows you may not shut down a program to save memory...
---
but with the new machine it's got lots of room 64 gigs..
---
I do save pretty much anytime I have made much of a change.
---
current work in progress.. but it's been saved at least 4 times as a new file and old stuff cut out to make room for new work...
---
is there any place that controls the space in the temp file?
---
this is the new work... actually 91-93 grand street in Manhatten ... still haven't got the upper window trim close enough to the real ones...
the install went well... and then I noticed the empty content library ... told daz to scan the disk and there were all the poser files ... but wait where are the daz files... ended up going to content manager thinking I was going to have to load one directory at a time, there are about 60 and I always get the more than ten warning) but I tried just clicking on the hard drive icon and daz added the drive and all it's sub folders.
And it opened my most recent work file... now to see if it likes the old ones.
