HeadShop 9 - Install

I recently purchased Headshop 9 and have had trouble getting off the ground with it - i.e. just basic installation. I followed the detailed instructions in the manual/readme file, checked the directories several times, etc, but I can't get the Plugin to show up in DAZ (i.e. it should show up under Edit).
a) I am installing manually; b) I am using DAZ 4.9.0.44 64-bit; c) it seems things might be complicated by the fact that some of my DAZ files are under C: while others are under D:. The point is that I tried several times using different locations, checked that the dll files etc are were they should be etc etc . . . can't quite figure out what do try next.
Comments
I'm thinking I should just re-install an older version of DAZ (i.e. 4.8), make sure everything is clearly installed to my C drive, and try to get HeadShop working there. Hopefully I can do that without messing up my 4.9, which has been running nicely for months.
For the record, yes, that worked. For some reaason I couldn't install HeadShop to Studio 4.9, but I now have 4.8 working as well with HeadShop installed there.
Further comment: things are actually not going so well. I did get HeadShop to install, I can also begin work on a new file, but when I get to the "autodots" stage things grind to a halt (i.e. I am not able to grab the dots and move them to appropriate positions on the photo I am using as a template). I did report the problem and someone from the help desk did get back to me; he seems to be aware of the problem and is talking vaguely about a "fix" - I am not optimistic however; it really does not seem anyone is devoting the necessary resources to making this a useful, functional program.
We have released HeadShop 10 and it DOES have larger dots that are easier to grab/move.
My suggestion to using HS 9 better is to experiment with the screen resolution of your computer (maybe res is too high).
Laslo
Update: a brief Skype session with Laslo solved the problem. Yes, it was as simple as screen resolution. Thanks - now I can move ahead with the tutorials! (Laso was very helpful/efficient etc.)
