4.9 running like a one legged dog?

my system is an i7 3770 with gtx 760ti and 24gb ram and usually I have no problems with daz even with over ten genesis figures in a scene but now I have three and some other props and it is running like a dog. This has been since I updated.  Any ideas why this might be?

I've noticed loading a Genesis 3 figure takes a much longer time than it has in the past. This appears to be a degenerative process that gets worse and worse until I close Daz Studio and reopen it.

A strange bug, if I have a Genesis 3 character loaded and selected, if I merge in or add a new Genesis 3 character (base or pre-made) it will mess up the first Genesis 3 character by changing random shape sliders. I have to make sure to de-select any Genesis 3 character prior to adding any new ones.

    my system is an i7 6800k, 24gb Ram, Gtx 980/Gtx 680

Yeah noticed it was more sluggish, wondered if the system requirements had gone up..

Check the Display Optimisation settings in Edit>Preferences>Interface tab.

  • I can't say I have ever seen a one legged dog run at all...
