Questions on IRay Converter for Genesis and Generation 4 Bundle

If I used the Converter (Generation 4, I suppose) on some Generation 3 figures, such as David 3, would that work?
The Bundle mentions Genesis but not Genesis 2. Again, if I used the Converter (Genesis, I suppose) on Genesis 2 figures, would that work?

Moved to Daz Studio Discussion as it is a question about a product, not a suggestion for a new product or search fro an existing product.
Third generation figures have a very different UV mapping from fourth, the converter doesn't do anything for UVs but only converts settings. So no, it would not work.
If you you had the needed fourth generation UV set for the Genesis 2 figure (Genesis 2, unlike Genesis, did not include the fourth generation UVs) then the converted settings should work.
