Exported daz figures file size are huge

I exported a v4 and file size if 40mb for a fbx model but only 1mb for obj.
Anyway to export it as fbx file and get low file size as i dont wana rig model again.

As far as I know an FBX version will have to convert the fall-offs and matrices in the rigging to vertex weights (I don't think FBX supports Poser rigging as such) so that is an immediate and major increase in data over the OBJ. How many of the morphs did you include (if any)? Those will add a lot of data too.
I would think it's the morphs, they can add a lot, there is a big difference between a OBJ and an FBX in terms of contents, the OBJ is just a mesh, the FBX can contain lots of other stuff.
I would be careful with CR2 rigs, they often cause problems in FBX, at least with Lightwave (Genesis work without any hickups), not sure if it works with other software.
