Can't Move, Delete, or Rename Some Folders

I needed to format my C drive.  My content and my CMS files are on a seperate drive.  When I re-installed Daz Studio, certain folders can't be deleted, moved, or renamed.  Anyone know of anything I can do? Is there some kind of odd setting that's doing this or is it bugged?  I tried to find anything on it but just couldn't come up with anything.  Thanks so much in advance for any help anyone can give me.

Why can you not delete/move them, because they are in use or because you do not have the rights to do it ?

Seems to be anything recently placed.  For an instance, my After School Detention folder under scene.

Do the folders contain files or are they empty? Which version of DS is this (Help>About Daz Studio)?

The folders contain files, in some cases including other folders. I am currently using 4.8.0.55 though I also tried 4.9 (latest version) and the problem existed with that as well.

Ah, I see. I'm not sure what might cause (or fix) that in 4.8.

Do you know what might cause or fix it in 4.9? The problem exists in both.

As I recall theer was a bug in 4.9.0.x that could cause issues that sound related, but I don't believe that propagated back to the 4.8 tables. I am not, however, a CMS expert.

Ah, so back when I had 4.9 installed it must have corrupted my CMS and then going back to 4.8 fixed some of the problems 4.9 caused, but not all. At least I have some idea of the culprit. I might have a backup of my CMS before 4.9 corruption.

If it is the 4.9.0 issue, which I think is unlikely, then Technical Support has a script that may help - please open a ticket.

I'm not entirely sure if it's the 4.9.0 problem, but I think I've managed to fix it.  I want to post here with my solution just in case someone comes across this thread with the same problem.  Bellow is the solution I've come up with that seams to work:

Right click and duplicate the root folder of the affected (locked) folder (not the folder that is it's self locked).  Where you duplicate that folder to is irrelevant.  Delete the original root folder and then move the duplicated version to where the original root folder used to be.

That worked for me.  Good luck to everyone.
