Eyes looking at camera

I want my characters eyes to follow the camera as it slowly pans across the scene. I found the "Aim at" option, but I can't get it to work. Managed to get the character cross eyed, and even knotted its arms, but can't get the desired behaviour.

There doesn't seem to be much online about this.

I am using Daz 3D Studio V4

    Here is what I do:

    1. Select Genesis' head in the viewport, then go to the Scene tab and expand from the Head to display the Left Eye and Right Eye. Shift-select both eyes.
    3. Go to the Parameter Tab, select the General group. At the bottom change the "Point To" option to the Camera you're using.

    Hello to all.
Maybe because I have a particular PC or because my version of DazStudio is badly configured, but I can't find the famous "POINT TO" anywhere! Can you explain well the procedure to reach it from the beginning to the end? Thanks so much

Select the eyes, go to the Parameters pane (it should be open already, but if not Window>Panes(Tabs)>Parameters) and use the Point At (not Point To) button to bring up a dialogue box in which you ca select the target.

  • Can't find the video atm, as I recall the idea was to create a null and parent that to a camera. Have one eye pointed at the null. Plant the camera/null inside the head of the figure it is to be watching.

The late Jaderail gave this suggestion. Forum post.
