Mimic Pro was a stand-alone application, although I am not sure how well it could hve been amde to work with Genesis 3 as it requires a cr2 for the figure; however the only version in the store, as far as I can see, is a plug-in for Carrara.

Its to bad that mimic 3 pro standalone is no longer available
We recently discovered that it works quite well with the genesis 2 model at least .
Simply do a one time export to poser CR2 and load that into the mimic pro session manager
Here is a recent test we did wth genesis 2 female

    LipSync is definitely usable.

A few things that could be done to help tuning imported lipsync in DS:

Tweak Mimic Live! slightly so it could import prerecorded audio files (so users don't have to have 2 DS opened simultaneously when animating actors)

Aniblocks display wave form: AniMate2 does import audio files. But without wave form showing on audio aniblocks, animators are left in the dark.

And poor Genesis1/2/3, all the visemes and wasted facial animation potential.

DS has so much animation potential beyond dead-eye girl gyrates from point A to point B with unnatural pout.... kiss wink

Hate to resurrect such an old thread, but I'm trying to get Mimic Pro to work with Genesis 2. I created a cr2 file for G2, and am using the dmc file from Daz, but when I use these in Mimic Pro, it's like the character won't open their jaw, so there are lip momements, but the mouth doesn't open. Any suggestions?

Mimic pro 3 had a Mac version but software is no longer for sale and 32 bit anyway.
