surface selection by value of ... instant crash.

yes, I filed a bug report... or it's trying too submit one as I type this...( five minutes to say a blank order number must be filled with N/A (hint put a note in the HTML?*

so is this a known bug or my computer just being special

used the "surface selection tool" 
sub... select all surfaces with the value of....
clicked to accept dialog...
crash ... instantaneous to the desktop... no "oh my god, I've had an issue message" ... just gone... 
not even a fatal error here's my crash report... 
repeated to attempt to recreate the issue... was successful...

* well glad I copied the bug report data here... see attached picture...  so the bug report system has a bug...

one minute later... I back paged from the page below to the bug report form and hit submit and it went through... good grief...

What property did you pick to select by? What figure, does it make a difference if you use a different figure (or use 3Delight instead of Iray/Iray instead of 3Delight materials if there's a choice)?
